Football and beer is a more or less inseparable combination for fans watching the game.

It helps them to cheer their teams on,tell the refs what they are getting wrong,tell the players what they need to do better,tell the coach what he should be doing instead of standing around… and it helps to bring a warm festive nature to the proceedings.
FIFA and beer have had a rocky relationship in the past.
Now Qatar is laying down the law for the World Cup.
Sure folks can have beer while they are watching the games in the stadiums (stadia?) – but its got to be beer of the non alcoholic variety.
