The curse of Messi continues.

The Saudis played their hearts out and came back from behind to win.  Argentina must summon the spirit of Maradona if they are going to make it out of the first round.  Their next match against Mexico promises to be even more challenging.

Hats off to the Saudis and in particular the brilliant Salem Al-Dawsari.  They deserved the win – one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history.

Side question: will the Saudis ever stop killing the planet?
