Rooney backs City to pip Arsenal at the post

Rooney scored against Arsenal on his debut for Everton in 2002, and he was only 16 years old at the time. He went on to score 17 goals in two seasons for Everton before moving to Man Utd where he eventually ended up becoming a club legend.( He was part of the winning team for Five Premier League titles, three League Cups, and one UEFA Champions during his time there and also ended up becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer, surpassing Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 249 goals.) That’s quite a lot of feats.

Which began with the “Remember the name” goal …

So after all that and given the fact that he helped his team beat Arsenal on debut he believes that Arsenal don’t have it in them to hold their nerve to win the title this season.

It’s up to Aresnal to prove him wrong.
