EPL on a sacking spree

Chelsea gave Graham Potter the boot on the 2nd of April and Potter became the 10th manager to get sacked this season. From the 30th of August 2022 a steady stream of managers have managed to get sacked from their jobs as follows.

30th August – Scott Parker, Bournemouth, Sept 7th –Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea, Oct 2-Bruno Lage, Wolverhampton Wanderers. 20th Oct -Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa, Nov 6th –Ralph Hasenhüttl, Southampton, Jan 23rd – Frank Lampard, Everton, Feb 21st –Jesse Marsch, Leeds,12th Feb –Nathan Jones, Southampton,17th March – Patrick Vieira, Crystal Palace,26th March –Antonio Conte, Tottenham,2nd April –Brendan Rodgers, Leicester City.

Graham Potter is number 10.

Other’s with their jobs on the line are now David Moyes and (unthinkable till fairly recently) Jurgen Klopp.

Chelsea are also the EPL club that have managed to sack the maximum number of managers in their history. Here’s a list of some of those who got the boot in the past .
