Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign came to an end at the hands of Senegal. Sadio Mane’s goal in the 78th minute was enough to see Senegal through to the final and Salah’s Egypt getting knocked out
It made it the fourth time that Egypt have lost to Senegal in the AFCON.The worst of those for Salah would be the loss in the final of 2021 where he,like this time around, couldn’t score and it was Mane,once again,who scored the winner in the penalty shootout.
