His grievance with them has largely centered on ambition versus reality. Reports suggest he’s been frustrated that the club hasn’t consistently matched his winning mindset especially around recruitment, ( Benzema for example) squad balance, and on-field intensity. Ronaldo has publicly shown irritation during matches, and behind the scenes he’s believed to have pushed for stronger signings, clearer tactical direction, and higher professional standards.
Ronaldo didn’t come to Saudi Arabia just to be a marquee name; he came to win trophies and dominate. That hasn’t really worked out for Al Nassr – hence the hissy fit.

On the plus side he is thrilled to bits because his eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo (Jr) will be playing for the Portuguese national under 16 squad at the Algarve Tournament between 12 and 17 February. He is turning out to be a bit of a chip off the old block and Ronaldo is very happy .
