Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the table after a comfortable 2 -1 win over Southampton. Adrian,the back up goalie,was thrown into the thick of things because of first choice goalie Becker’s unfortunate injury.
Adrian produced some brilliant saves to keep Liverpool out of trouble.
Unfortunately he also produced this howler for the ages.

The even more bad news that he too is injured now.
And ironically,it is an overenthusiastic Liverpool fan,who did him in.
The fan who broke through the security cordon to join Adrian in celebrating a penalty save left him with a busted ankle.Liverpool now have to play their third choice goalie in the coming games till the first two recover.
(Come to think of it,it might have been a Man City fan disguised as a Liverpool fan.
